  1. Compiled suggestions from 2/26/11 session:
-Turn weekly readers theatre into a digital story.
    -Book reports.
    -Oral presentations.
-Students draw their own pictures to go with their favorite story to be digitized.
    -Plant growth story.
    -Alabama history.
-Student-made biography of a famous person.
-Take a "pattern walk" around the school, taking pictures of patterns, then have students explain/discuss the patterns in a digital presentation.
    -Retelling stories.
-Using a condensed "Nutcracker" story and Tchaiakovsky music, have students draw their own pictures to go with the story before seeing the actual illustrations.
